Bottle and Carboy Accessories, Bottles & Carboys, OVERHEAD CARBOY MAGNETIC STIRRER
Designed for efficient mixing of liquids in 10 L, 20 L and 50 L carboys with an 83B neck finish. This reusable magnetic stir bar is suspended from a durable shaft and positioned approximately ½ inch above the bottom of the carboy to ensure optimal stirring performance. Engineered for outstanding chemical resistance, it is compatible with strong acids, strong bases and alcohols, making it ideal for demanding laboratory applications. The assembly is constructed from high-quality materials, including a polypropylene (PP) 83B screw closure, lock nut, baffle, and bracket; a PEEK shaft; a PVDF rotor; and Teflon® (PTFE) stir bar and impeller, ensuring exceptional durability, chemical compatibility, and long service life.
