CRYOCHILL™ cryovial, Star-Foot, Sterile

Star-Foot CRYOCHILL™ cryovials are available with both external and internal threaded designs. These vials are made from USP Class VI compliant polypropylene (PP), while the threaded closures are manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and feature 0.1 mL graduation markings. The internally threaded caps include a silicone washer for better sealing efficiency. Designed for durability, the vials provide reliable protection under extreme temperature conditions and are suitable for use in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen as well as in mechanical freezers. They comply with IATA standards, with the ability to withstand evacuation to 95 kPa without leakage, making them suitable for transporting diagnostic specimens. Produced in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom, CRYOCHILL™ Star-Foot vials are certified free from detectable DNase, RNase, and pyrogens.

Warning: Do not use cryovials or storage boxes in liquid phase of liquid Nitrogen as it may cause entrapment of liquefied Nitrogen inside the vial which leads to pressure build up, resulting in possible explosion of biohazard release. Always use appropriate safety equipment when removing cryovials from cryogenic storage.
