CRYOCHILL™ Cryovial, Self-Standing, Sterile

Self-Standing CRYOCHILL™ cryovials are available with both external and internal thread designs. These vials are made from USP Class VI compliant polypropylene (PP), while the threaded closures are manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and feature 0.1 mL graduation markings. The internally threaded caps include a silicone washer for better sealing efficiency. These vials offer durable protection against extreme temperatures and are suitable for use in the vapor phase of liquid nitrogen as well as in mechanical freezers. They comply with IATA standards, capable of withstanding pressures up to 95 kPa without leakage, making them appropriate for transporting diagnostic specimens. Manufactured in an ISO Class 8 cleanroom environment, CRYOCHILL™ self-standing vials are certified free from detectable DNase, RNase, and pyrogens.

A 2D barcode is located on the bottom of self-standing cryovial and allows for rapid scanning and identification of samples.

Warning: Do not use cryovials or storage boxes in liquid phase of liquid Nitrogen as it may cause entrapment of liquefied Nitrogen inside the vial which leads to pressure build up, resulting in possible explosion of biohazard release. Always use appropriate safety equipment when removing cryovials from cryogenic storage.
