Manufactured from US FDA 21 CFR passed Polycarbonate (PC). It comes with a blue lid and white vial holder made from High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). A Form insert is also supplied inside the base unit. Labelled with graphic and step–by–step instructions. Uniquely designed to be used for cell cryo preservation and recovery. This cooler gives a -1 ̊ C/min cooling rate for 18 cryo vials of 1 mL or 1.8 mL.

The cooler needs 100% isopropyl alcohol and a mechanical freezer.
