Measuring Cylinders
Our Imhoff Settling Cones are made from Styrene Acrylonitrile (SAN), according to DIN 12 672. These are crystal clear, with moulded graduations for precise reading of volumes. They are designed to determine the volume of settleable matter from known waste effluent. The leakproof closure makes it possible to withdraw sediment for gravimetric analysis and aids in cleaning. For simple, basic cleaning and rinsing, the screw coupling on the tip can be removed. The risk is lower for breakage than for PC or glass containers.
